50 years of ALPA
2022 marks the 50th anniversary of the Arnhem Land Progress Aboriginal Corporation.
I was honoured to be approached to adapt an original painting by Leslie Nawirridj, a Yolngu Artist from Maningrida, to create a consistent brand for the 50th anniversary. I intertwined the 5 and 0 forms to subtly communicate the culture of unity that makes ALPA such a wonderful community organisation. The treament of ‘Years of ALPA’ references 1981 typography.
